Job Description
The role involves developing and managing the supply chain for AIRCO's innovative carbon conversion fuel production systems, focusing on sourcing, vendor management, cost reduction, and ensuring scalable supply base operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the sourcing strategy for process equipment modules, BOP, and electrical components.
- Build and manage a scalable supply base to meet changing demand.
- Identify, qualify, and negotiate with vendors to meet cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
- Set up and manage supplier performance metrics including cost, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering to translate technical requirements into supplier specifications and RFQs.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage commercial terms with suppliers.
- Maintain a multi-vendor supply base to reduce single-supplier risk.
- Develop and execute materials planning, including MRP, safety stock, and lead-time planning.
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, and program management on demand and build plans.
- Resolve supply chain and supplier issues efficiently and systematically.
Requirements
- Seven (7) years of experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, or supply base management, ideally for process equipment, skids, or complex industrial systems.
- Proven experience building or scaling a multi-vendor supply base.
- Strong background in sourcing on cost, quality, delivery, and risk, with a total cost of ownership mindset.
- Hands-on materials planning experience including MRP, demand supply matching, and inventory management.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications and work effectively with engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Problem-solving skills and comfort working in a fast-moving, build-from-scratch environment.
