Job Description
The job involves working with advanced AI and data platforms to capture, analyze, and manage field data for agriculture and environmental conservation, supporting decision-making and sustainability efforts through innovative digital tools and insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform smartphones into data acquisition tools for ground-level crop and tree observations.
- Integrate and sync visual models with the AI-native data platform, Agerpoint Cloud.
- Utilize satellite imagery, drone surveys, sensors, and human observations to produce digital twins and analytics.
- Generate actionable insights for yield estimation, disease identification, and biodiversity assessment.
- Support decision-making processes for agriculture, forestry, insurance, government, and conservation organizations.
Requirements
- Experience in data acquisition, analysis, or management related to agriculture, forestry, environmental conservation, or a similar field.
- Ability to utilize a smartphone as a data collection tool, including recording ground-level observations of crops and trees.
- Familiarity with integrating and working with AI-native data platforms, satellite imagery, terrestrial and drone surveys, field equipment sensors, and human observations.
- Experience in producing digital twins and analytics related to vegetation, yield estimation, disease identification, or biodiversity assessment.
- Ability to work in a remote-friendly and flexible work environment.
- Willingness to work in or be located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, with access to on-site facilities if applicable.
