Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer in the Identity Access Management Integrations Team responsible for developing and maintaining APIs, integration platforms, and access management systems to enhance the company's platform, working closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the technical roadmap and implementation of API layers, integration platform, and access management systems.
- Own and maintain product areas critical to customer success and business objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to develop and improve platform features.
- Establish and promote best practices for APIs, integrations, and IAM systems to ensure performance and reliability.
- Mentor and guide other engineers to enhance team skills and technical excellence.
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years of experience as a senior member of a team delivering end-to-end systems
- Experience working with a variety of web APIs and developing backend services using modern Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) practices
- Strong understanding of relational databases and the ability to diagnose performance bottlenecks at the database layer
- Experience troubleshooting across network, application, caching, queuing, and storage layers
- Experience helping teams solve high-scale challenges, integrate systems, or develop business intelligence platforms
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical decisions in writing and brainstorming in real time
- Strong ownership instincts and attention to detail
- Proficiency in English
- Experience with backend development in systems built with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and Redis
- Experience with frontend development initiatives using Typescript and React (preferred but not mandatory, as the focus is on backend development)
- Experience working with infrastructure hosted on AWS and running on Kubernetes
