Job Description

The FP&A Manager at Affinity is responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, analyzing SaaS metrics, and providing strategic insights to support growth and operational efficiency within a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the annual planning, long-range planning, and rolling forecast processes to ensure accuracy and strategic alignment
  • Develop, track, and report on key SaaS financial and operational metrics such as ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, and gross margin
  • Own the detailed operating expense budgeting process and collaborate with department heads to optimize budgets and manage variances
  • Design, maintain, and improve complex financial models to support decision-making and scenario analysis
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analysis for the Board of Directors, executive team, and investors
  • Drive improvements in planning, forecasting, and reporting systems to increase efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP A, and or a fast-paced environments like Investment Banking, PE VC, or Consulting.
  • Expertise in SaaS financial and operational metrics including ARR, LTV, CAC, Churn, and Gross Margin analysis.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets ability to build complex, driver-based models from scratch.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders, department heads, and executive leadership.
  • Strong business partnership orientation and the ability to influence decisions and drive accountability across the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

Compensation/salary range: $131,120 to $163,900 USD
Work schedule: Hybrid model, in-office 2-3 days per week (Tuesday through Thursday)
