A hands-on Brand Designer responsible for creating and managing visual assets across various channels, building scalable templates, supporting product launches, and ensuring brand consistency to enhance Affinity's visual identity and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Design high-quality brand campaign assets across various channels including digital, print, and out-of-home media.
Build and maintain scalable templates and design systems for use across multiple teams.
Create assets for product launches, customer stories, and major announcements in collaboration with Product Marketing and Product Design.
Develop visual content such as landing pages, website updates, sales presentations, and marketing materials.
Ensure brand consistency and evolve visual language as the company grows.
Translate creative work into guidelines, templates, and resources for cross-team use.
Own the production process from concept through delivery, maintaining quality and deadlines.
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in brand, marketing, or visual design, with work spanning digital, physical, and illustrative outputs
Strong portfolio demonstrating range across web, campaign, brand, and production design
Experience with B2B SaaS, fintech, or technology companies is preferred
Fluency in Figma as the primary tool and Webflow, with comfort preparing assets for web, email, print, and large-format production
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects, Lottie; HTML and CSS experience is a plus
Experience with Canva for developing self-serve templates that enable non-designers to create on-brand assets
A systems-and-template-driven mindset, with a love for creating assets other teams can reuse confidently and at scale
Data-informed thinking to understand how creative decisions impact conversion and engagement, while maintaining visual distinctiveness
A strong eye for detail and consistency, with deep care for craft, clarity, and finish
Ability to stay calm and focused in fast-moving environments, balancing creative exploration with executional rigor
Strong project management skills to prioritize, manage multiple workstreams, and ship on deadline without dedicated creative operations support
Experience with Asana or similar project management tools is a plus
Excellent communication skills to articulate design rationale, present work to stakeholders, and incorporate feedback constructively
Effective collaboration style across Brand, Product Marketing, Sales, Events, and external vendors
Experience with motion graphics skills using After Effects and Lottie for animated content and web animations is a plus
Video editing skills with tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar are desirable
Familiarity with private capital markets or financial services is preferred
Background in both agency and in-house environments is a plus
Work location is remote, with possible in-office presence in Canada (specifically in San Francisco, New York, or Barcelona for hybrid models), expected in-office 2-3 days per week if within commuting distance

Salary Range: approximately 91,000.00 - 114,000.00 CAD base salary, depending on experience and location
