Job Description
The Test Engineering Manager for Photonics and PCBA is responsible for leading the development and execution of testing strategies for photonic subsystems, boards, and assemblies, overseeing optical and electrical testing from prototype to production, while managing a team of test engineers and technicians in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and improve test strategies for photonic subsystems, boards, and assemblies
- Manage optical, electrical, and module test coverage from prototype to production
- Lead and oversee a team of test engineers and technicians
- Drive test infrastructure development and implementation
- Implement design for test (DFT) practices to enhance testability
- Analyze test data to improve yield and identify root causes of issues
Requirements
- Experience in leading the development, execution, and continuous improvement of test strategies for photonic subsystems, boards, and assemblies.
- Ownership of optical, electrical, and module test coverage from prototype through production.
- Management of a team of test engineers and technicians.
- Deep hands-on understanding of both optics and electronics.
- Ability to drive test infrastructure, Design for Test (DFT), yield improvement, and root-cause analysis in a fast-paced environment.
