Job Description
The role involves developing and integrating photonics components for various products, supporting the company's advanced LiDAR sensing technology used in autonomous systems and robotics.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver photonics integration solutions for various product lines
- Collaborate across functions to develop and implement photonics components
- Support the design, development, and testing of photonics modules and systems
Requirements
- Experience in delivering photonics to various product lines, demonstrating cross-functional expertise in photonics integration.
- Proficiency in integrating key LiDAR components onto silicon photonics chips for compact modules.
- Ability to contribute to the development of 4D LiDAR sensors that detect instant velocity in addition to 3D position.
- Experience with photonics packaging engineering, including design, assembly, and testing of photonics modules.
- Knowledge of photonics fabrication processes and materials relevant to silicon photonics and LiDAR applications.
- Strong understanding of optical, electronic, and mechanical integration principles for photonics systems.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment to deliver photonics-based products.
