Job Description
A senior engineer responsible for developing and deploying advanced state estimation, calibration, and mapping algorithms for Aeva's 4D LiDAR sensors to enhance autonomous driving capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement state-of-the-art methods in state estimation, online calibration, and optimization for LiDAR systems
- Deploy LiDAR algorithms to production environments to enhance autonomous driving performance
- Work on calibration, localization, and mapping within the CLAMS team to improve sensor accuracy and system reliability
Requirements
- Experience working as a Senior Engineer in calibration, localization, and mapping teams.
- Proficiency in implementing state-of-the-art (SOTA) methods in state estimation, online calibration, and optimization.
- Experience in deploying LiDAR algorithms, specifically Aeva s 4D FMCW LiDAR algorithms, to production environments.
- Knowledge of autonomous driving performance enhancement through LiDAR technology.
