Job Description
A Senior Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for developing and improving the mechanical design of test and qualification systems for advanced LiDAR sensors used in autonomous and robotic applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components and systems for LiDAR test and qualification equipment
- Develop and refine mechanical designs to ensure system performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electronic and optical components
Requirements
- Experience in mechanical design of test and qualification systems
- Proficiency in mechanical design engineering principles and practices
- Ability to contribute to the mechanical design of complex systems, specifically test and qualification systems
- Strong understanding of mechanical components and materials used in testing and qualification equipment
- Demonstrated experience in designing mechanical systems for electronic or sensor-based products
- Educational background in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (implied, as a senior engineer role)
- Ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including electrical, software, and systems engineers
- Experience with CAD software for mechanical design (implied, as a senior design engineer role)
