Job Description
A Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for designing and testing mechanical components and assembly equipment for advanced LiDAR sensors used in autonomous systems and robotics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design the mechanical components of the product
- Develop and test assembly equipment for manufacturing
- Contribute to the mechanical integration of LiDAR sensor modules
Requirements
- Experience in mechanical design of products and test assembly equipment
- Ability to contribute to the mechanical design of LiDAR sensors or similar optical/electronic devices
- Knowledge of integrating key LiDAR components onto a silicon photonics chip or similar compact modules
- Understanding of designing for autonomous devices such as vehicles and robots to ensure safety and reliability
