Job Description

The role involves supporting the Chief Operating Officer of Acumen by managing priorities, coordinating meetings, conducting research, and streamlining operations to ensure effective organizational functioning and strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the COO in setting priorities and tracking progress against key KPIs
  • Prepare briefing materials and support the organization of key meetings with senior leadership, the Board, and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and manage the COO's daily schedule, travel arrangements, and expense reports
  • Conduct research, data analysis, and benchmarking to develop insights and recommendations
  • Assist in external engagement activities involving portfolio companies, funding partners, and impact investing stakeholders
  • Track and follow up on action items from meetings and strategic initiatives
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives as needed
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and filing systems
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in strategy, consulting, operations, program management, or a similar role.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments supporting senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated prior experience preparing reports, presentations, or briefing materials for leadership teams of global organizations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset.
  • Solutions-oriented problem solver with sound judgment.
  • Self-reflective, values-driven, and aligned with Acumen’s mission and values.
  • Permanent authorization to work in India.
