Job Description
The Analyst will support portfolio and investment analytics, including performance tracking, risk assessment, and market research, to inform investment decisions and monitor portfolio performance across regions and sectors for a global impact investment organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in core portfolio and investment analytics including performance tracking, risk assessment, historical analysis, scenario analysis, and stress testing
- Prepare country notes, market briefs, and economic analyses for senior stakeholders
- Compile, clean, and analyze financial and economic data to support forecasting and benchmarking
- Extract, validate, and maintain accurate portfolio data using portfolio management tools
- Develop and update dashboards, scorecards, and recurring portfolio reports
- Assist in ongoing investment monitoring, performance tracking, and variance analysis
- Identify emerging trends, risks, or data issues and escalate them appropriately
- Document analytical approaches, assumptions, and outputs for knowledge sharing
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, portfolio analytics, consulting, economics, finance, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to work with financial and economic datasets.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with dashboards or data visualization tools.
- Experience working with portfolio systems such as eFront or similar systems is a plus.
- Exposure to working with AI tools for investment management.
- Ability to translate analysis into clear, structured outputs for senior review.
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to manage priorities with guidance.
- Interest in global markets, development finance, and impact investing.
- Permanent authorization to work in India.
