The Energy Sales Director leads and mentors a team of Energy Advisors, guiding them through complex energy challenges for businesses, while also playing a key role in team growth and fostering a positive, inclusive culture focused on collaboration, integrity, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Energy Advisors
- Guide the team in helping businesses navigate complex energy challenges
- Develop and implement strategies for energy sales growth
- Partner with talent acquisition to identify, hire, and develop top sales talent
- Create a positive and inclusive environment to support and motivate the team
Requirements
- Experience in retail commercial energy is essential to the success of the team.
- Experience in leading and mentoring a team of Energy Advisors is required.
- Experience in guiding teams to help businesses navigate complex energy challenges, including market volatility, carbon reduction targets, and energy reliability.
- Experience in partnering with talent acquisition to identify, hire, and develop top sales talent who align with the company's mission and culture.
- Demonstrated ability to create a positive and inclusive environment where team members feel supported, motivated, and empowered.
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach to management.
- Ability to communicate openly and honestly to foster trust and drive better decisions.
- Commitment to defining and maintaining excellence by constantly pushing to be better, leading, and setting the bar for others.
