The Energy Sales Director leads and mentors a team of Energy Advisors in navigating complex energy challenges for businesses, while also contributing to team growth and fostering a positive, inclusive culture focused on excellence, integrity, and making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Energy Advisors
- Guide the team in helping businesses navigate complex energy challenges
- Develop and grow the sales team through talent acquisition and development
- Create a positive and inclusive environment to support and motivate Energy Advisors
- Provide strategic leadership in retail commercial energy sales
Requirements
- Experience in retail commercial energy with a proven track record of leading and mentoring a team of Energy Advisors.
- Ability to guide a team in helping businesses navigate complex energy challenges, including market volatility, carbon reduction targets, and energy reliability.
- Experience in partnering with talent acquisition to identify, hire, and develop top sales talent who align with the company's mission and culture.
- Hands-on leadership experience in the energy sales industry.
- Strong communication skills to foster open and honest communication within the team.
- Demonstrated commitment to defining and achieving excellence by constantly pushing to be better, leading, and setting the bar for others.
- High ethical standards with a commitment to doing the right thing, maintaining integrity, and protecting the company's reputation.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment where team members feel supported, motivated, and empowered.
