Job Description
The Senior Strategic Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth by engaging with large end-customers and supporting their technical needs, particularly in industrial power and data center applications. This role involves qualifying commercial opportunities, developing a sales pipeline, and collaborating closely with the executive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with and technically support large end-customers and new marquee accounts
- Qualify commercial opportunities and develop a sales pipeline
- Forecast, quote, and close orders
- Size batteries, strings, battery cabinets, and turn-key battery plants for various applications
- Report to the VP Sales and develop key accounts and applications
Requirements
- Experience in large industrial power or colocation data center environments.
- Comfort with DC and AC power systems.
- Ability to size batteries, strings, battery cabinets, and turn-key battery plants for applications including traditional data center UPS, single and 3-phase, and industrial power systems with power levels in the MW-class.
- Proven track record in qualifying commercial opportunities, developing a sales pipeline, forecasting, quoting, and closing orders.
- Demonstrated comfort with a wide range of activities and a strong work ethic.
