Job Description
The Senior Manager, Permitting will oversee environmental diligence, permit processing, and pre-construction implementation for large-scale renewable energy projects, including wind and solar, across various regions. This role involves collaboration across multiple disciplines such as environmental science, business, and engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental diligence for renewable energy projects
- Process and acquire discretionary permits
- Implement pre-construction permits for gigawatt-scale projects
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including M&A, Development, and Engineering
Requirements
- Experience in environmental diligence, discretionary permit processing and acquisition, and pre-construction permit implementation for gigawatt-scale greenfield and M&A renewable energy projects including wind, solar PV, and BESS.
- Ability to work cross-disciplinarily across a wide variety of specialties including environmental science, business, finance, communications, policy, and real estate.
- Must not have current enforceable non-compete restrictions that would hinder employment with Intersect Power.
