Job Description
The Technical Program Manager will lead cross-functional initiatives within the Mass Remediation Program at Pure Storage, focusing on software-based remediation efforts to proactively resolve high-impact product issues. This role involves managing the entire program lifecycle, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring minimal customer impact while driving large-scale remediation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Software Mass Remediation Program lifecycle across five key phases.
- Partner with engineering teams to triage issues, define scope, assess risk, and develop remediation strategies.
- Coordinate the delivery of fixes, ensuring timely, non-disruptive deployment.
- Orchestrate collaboration among Engineering, Customer Experience, Product, Legal, Finance, and Field teams.
- Align internal communications and external deliverables for consistency and clarity.
- Lead issue resolution and status updates across multiple workstreams.
- Ensure customer impact is minimized and establish feedback loops for continuous improvement.
- Oversee execution of Pure1 Self-Service Purity Optimizations and monitor adoption.
- Monitor KPIs and key remediation metrics through Tableau dashboard.
- Present data-driven progress reports and escalations to executive stakeholders.
- Conduct structured debriefs at the conclusion of each remediation cycle.
- Capture learnings, document best practices, and refine internal playbooks and templates.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in technical program management, product operations, or engineering leadership, ideally within the storage, SaaS, or enterprise tech sector.
- Strong understanding of storage systems, hardware software lifecycles, and large-scale product deployments.
- Proven experience in incident management, postmortem root cause analysis, and customer-facing remediation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with executive audiences.
- Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Tableau, and project management frameworks Agile, Scrum, Waterfall.
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, prioritize effectively, and drive complex programs to completion.
- Ability to work from the Lehi Office, Santa Clara Office, or North Carolina office in compliance with Pure's policies.
