Job Description
The Logistics Trade Compliance Coordinator will assist in managing import and export customs clearance, licensing, and compliance requirements in accordance with U.S. and EU regulations, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to global trade control matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in import export customs clearance
- Prepare import export customs documents for clearance
- Coordinate freight forwarder for collection at factory
- Support audits of export import shipping records
- Maintain record keeping of export classifications and licenses
- Provide input to the development of processes and procedures
- Identify and resolve trade compliance matters
- Ensure compliance with regional regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with functional groups to improve processes and compliance
- Act as point of contact for international import and export regulations
Requirements
- Three to five years of import export experience in International regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge and understanding of Incoterms 2020 Rules.
- Background of Air Parcel Shipment and Track and Trace systems e.g. FedEx, DHL, UPS.
- Knowledge of product compliance processes and the interplay with global supply chains.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate with other departments and carriers.
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with their team and the business.
- Previous experience in hi-tech, electronics, consumer goods, or other dynamic technology-driven businesses.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Google Sheets, and other common desktop software applications.
- Ability to travel if required.
- Willingness to work from the Houston, TX office in compliance with Pure's policies.
