Job Description
The Senior Program Manager, Technology Strategy and Assessment at Samsara will lead the development and optimization of technology-driven assessment programs to enhance recruiting practices and ensure an efficient hiring experience. This role involves collaborating with various teams to implement scalable assessment solutions and improve the candidate journey using technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale, technology-aligned projects supporting global goals.
- Collaborate with various teams to design and implement technology strategies for recruiting.
- Regularly report on technology program progress and project outcomes.
- Define and implement scalable assessment solutions for the hiring process.
- Partner with Recruiting Program Managers to integrate bias-reduction and inclusive hiring tools.
- Create and manage training programs for hiring managers and interviewers.
- Enable and optimize the candidate journey using technology for selection and assessment.
- Identify and lead initiatives for improvement and innovation in the assessment process.
- Promote Samsara's cultural values and lead an inclusive, high-performing team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 10 years of professional experience.
- 5 years of program and project management experience, with a recent focus on large-scale, technology-aligned programs.
- 3 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or consulting using data insights and storytelling to influence change with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to think strategically and drive both short- and long-term technology plans.
- Experience in systems thinking, aligning business needs with resources and technologies.
- Strong skills in data analysis, prioritizing workload, and managing multiple technology-focused projects.
