Job Description
The role involves driving sales of Internet of Things solutions to small and medium-sized customers, focusing on building relationships and providing actionable insights to improve their operations. Responsibilities include prospecting, managing customer engagements, and closing deals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close.
- Generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting and inbound leads.
- Target accounts with 11-30 vehicles.
- Handle and own the transactional sales process with high volume demands.
- Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in a closing sales role
- Proven track record of consistent quota achievement
- Experience selling in the commercial space - small to medium deal sizes
- Experience with high-volume cold calling
- Experience in fast-paced, transactional sales
- Must demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process
- Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC)
