Job Description

The role involves managing a strategic account within the Chemical industry, focusing on expanding business opportunities through a consultative sales approach and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position requires engaging with C-level stakeholders and driving complex sales cycles to position Celonis as a strategic transformation partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and cultivate relationships with customers to build long-term partnerships.
  • Generate new business opportunities with a Strategic Chemical customer.
  • Manage the Strategic Account to expand business and position Celonis as a Strategic Transformation Partner.
  • Engage with C-level stakeholders and represent the Celonis suite of solutions.
  • Achieve individual revenue targets by closing six to seven-figure deals.
  • Drive complex sales cycles by orchestrating virtual teams across various functions.

Requirements

  • Approx. 10 years of total relevant work experience, including 4 years in Management Business Process Consulting, with complementary experience in SaaS Sales, In-house Consulting, or similar areas.
  • Proven experience in engaging with stakeholders at C-level CFO, CPO, COO, etc. within Large Enterprise Customers.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of core enterprise processes and KPIs such as Finance and Supply Chain as well as other Chemical specific business areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior Line of Business (LOB) stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of the Chemical industry.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in German (fluent) and English.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast moving, ever changing, high growth environment and approach challenges with positivity, creative thinking, and a growth mindset.
  • Willingness to be collaborative, inclusive, to embrace diversity and to have strong interpersonal skills.
