Job Description
The role involves selling Internet of Things solutions to mid-sized customers, focusing on building relationships and managing complex sales processes, including trials and negotiations. Candidates will work remotely, primarily engaging with clients in various industries to enhance their operations through sensor data.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Samsara's business by bringing IoT solutions to mid-sized customers
- Manage sales processes including POCs, trials, and pricing negotiations
- Conduct high-volume cold calling to expand customer pipeline
- Develop genuine relationships with customers to foster trust
- Learn about various industries to effectively support customer needs
Requirements
- 2 years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role
- Experience independently closing new deals larger than 10,000 in annual revenue
- All candidates must be located in either EST or CST time zones
- Experience selling in the midmarket space - medium to large deal sizes
- Experience with high-volume cold calling
- Must demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with your teammates and in your selling process
- SFDC familiarity
