Job Description
The Silicon Alliances Ecosystem Development Manager at Canonical is responsible for collaborating with semiconductor partners to enhance open source adoption and optimize product offerings, while managing joint product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and business development skills to navigate complex partnerships and drive innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- •Represent Canonical and its solutions to partners
- •Develop understanding of silicon partner strategies and technologies
- •Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams
- •Create, track, and execute robust project plans
- •Develop joint Go To Market strategy and campaigns with silicon partners
- •Negotiate successful contracts
Requirements
- •B.A, B.S, or B.E degree in science, technology, and/or engineering.
- •Fundamental understanding of the semiconductor industry and ecosystem.
- •Customer-facing experience in business development, technology strategy, or similar functions.
- •Excellent communication skills with the ability to grasp complex material and synthesize key points.
- •Ability to think and work at both strategic and tactical levels.
- •Disciplined and self-motivated for a remote-first workplace environment.
