Job Description
The Sr. Maintenance Technician at Solid Power, Inc. is responsible for the hands-on installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and supporting R&D and production efforts in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist or lead with hands-on installation, operation, and maintenance of machine equipment
- Keep track of maintenance schedules using CMMS software
- Support production integration for process-specific equipment
- Contribute to the development of new procedures and improved practices
- Communicate results of work through data collection, documentation, and reports
- Plan and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Repair all production equipment as needed
- Inspect equipment for proper functioning and perform preventative maintenance
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in a technical related discipline or a minimum of 7 years of maintenance experience in a lab, technology, or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of industry safety and reliability standards.
- General maintenance repair troubleshooting experience with industrial electrical control systems 480VAC, 208VAC, 110VAC and 24VDC, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drive systems.
- Experience with starters, relays, contacts and fuses.
- Experience replacing pump seals, motors and gearboxes.
- Experience with hydraulic cylinders, valves and hoses.
- Structured problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work and complete assigned tasks with minimal oversight.
- Availability to work and drive between two sites, located in Louisville primary work site and Thornton, Colorado.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary including, but not limited to eye protection, hair net, gloves, face mask, coveralls, full-face respirator or PAPR.
- The ability to lift and or move up to 50 pounds.

Compensation/salary range: $29 - $46 per hour
