Job Description
The Software Development for Reliability Engineering role involves collaborating with a global team to design and develop automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for the ArcGIS Velocity product, ensuring high-quality performance and reliability through various testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, product engineers, and Site Reliability Engineers to design and develop functional and non-functional tests
- Conduct functional automation testing via unit, white-box, and verification tests
- Perform non-functional automated reliability testing including Chaos Engineering, Game Days, Performance, and Scalability tests
- Develop API and/or UI tests in object-oriented languages such as Scala, Java, and Python
- Design and develop continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Design and develop continuous reliability (CR) pipelines to measure performance and scalability characteristics
- Execute data engineering tasks to create realistic source data for tests
- Deploy and schedule developed tests to run continuously and share results with stakeholders
- Review and manually troubleshoot test issues
- Maintain and enhance existing test suites
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, GIS, Spatial Analytics, or a related field of study.
- Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained.
- Demonstrated experience with ArcGIS.
- Demonstrated experience with Python.
- Demonstrated experience with GitHub.
- Demonstrated experience with Troubleshooting.

Compensation/salary range: 84,427 - 99,500 USD
