Job Description
The job involves designing, developing, and enhancing web integration for engineering and construction processes using GIS technology, focusing on sustainable buildings and infrastructure. The role requires collaboration with various teams to create innovative workflows and automate testing and deployment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design innovative cloud-centric AEC workflows integrating GIS with engineering processes
- Write user stories and design integrated workflows for project delivery and asset management
- Develop strategies and tools for automating testing, deployment, and management of test data sets
- Establish best practices for BIM Project Management using GIS and advancements in civil engineering
- Write high-level documentation for the AEC web integration product
- Participate in team design reviews and advocate for clear workflows
- Collaborate with various teams to drive AEC requirements
- Engage with customers and industry leaders to gather requirements for AEC-GIS integration
Requirements
- 2 years of experience with Esri's ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online, desktop, or other GIS products and at least one Autodesk CAD system.
- Demonstrated experience automating data migration or integration tasks using Python and/or introductory web development using JavaScript.
- Understanding of REST API concepts.
- Exceptional communication skills in writing, presentation, and conversation.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Self-starter who is motivated to successfully manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, or a GIS-related field.
