Job Description
The AME Engineer will design, develop, and maintain production equipment and machinery to ensure efficient operations in the manufacturing of energy storage solutions. This role involves collaborating with project teams to meet technical specifications and support production through troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- •Develop and implement efficient processes for cell product design
- •Develop production equipment and machinery
- •Create technical specifications, FMEAs, and validation plans
- •Ensure effective integration of equipment into project plans
- •Maintain project documentation, including design documents and maintenance manuals
- •Provide technical support to production teams, including troubleshooting
- •Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and project meetings
- •Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in equipment engineering
Requirements
- •BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- •At least 5 years of experience in equipment engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- •Strong knowledge of equipment engineering principles and the ability to use CAD software to design and simulate equipment
- •Ability to develop and implement efficient processes for given cell product design
- •Ability to develop production equipment and machinery
- •Ability to develop comprehensive technical specifications, FMEA's, and validation plans
- •Ability to provide technical support to production teams, including troubleshooting and problem-solving
- •Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- •Ability to participate in design reviews, risk assessments and project meetings
- •Ability to keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of equipment engineering
- •Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer and stand in front of the equipment for prolonged periods of time
