Job Description
The role involves leveraging geospatial technology to support commercial agriculture and natural resources, focusing on account management and sales strategies for Esri's state and local government clients. The position requires building customer relationships, understanding industry needs, and collaborating with teams to drive the adoption of Esri technology.
Responsibilities
- •Build relationships and implement location strategies for organizations.
- •Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities for new and existing customers.
- •Participate and present at trade shows, workshops, and seminars.
- •Demonstrate industry knowledge relevant to GIS applications.
- •Identify key stakeholders and business drivers for organizations.
- •Understand customer budgeting and acquisition processes.
- •Use solution selling skills to address customer needs and challenges.
- •Articulate the strength and value of Esri technology.
- •Conduct research and pursue professional development to anticipate customer needs.
- •Execute the account management and sales processes for all opportunities.
- •Support visual storytelling and propose solutions that meet customer needs.
- •Collaborate with teams across Esri to define and execute account strategies.
Requirements
- •3 years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience
- •Bachelor's or master's in GIS, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- •Understanding of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation
- •Demonstrated knowledge of new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers
- •Able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization
- •Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%
