Job Description
The Founder in Residence (FIR) at Roadrunner Venture Studios is a full-time, six-month role focused on building a new company in the Advanced Energy sector, requiring expertise in areas such as synthetic fuels and geothermal energy. The FIR is expected to pitch a viable company concept within the residency period, supporting the transition from scientific innovation to industry-defining ventures.
Key Responsibilities
- Pitch a viable company concept to Roadrunner within the first six months of the residency
- Build a new company focused on Advanced Energy
- Support the development of a venture-backable company within six months
Requirements
- Expertise in Advanced Energy, namely synthetic fuels, next-gen power electronics, geothermal and or long duration energy storage.
- Proven track record of launching successful startups.
- Full-time availability for a 6-month residency focused on company building.
- Ability to pitch a viable company concept to Roadrunner within the first six months of the residency.
