Job Description
The role involves selling Internet of Things solutions to mid-sized customers, focusing on building relationships and managing complex sales processes that include trials and negotiations. Candidates should have experience in closing sales and a strong understanding of various industries to effectively impact operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Samsara's business by bringing IoT solutions to mid-sized customers.
- Manage trials, POCs, and multi-faceted pricing negotiations.
- Conduct high-volume cold calling to expand the sales pipeline.
- Develop genuine relationships with customers to foster trust.
- Learn about various industries to effectively support customers.
Requirements
- 2 years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
- Experience independently closing new deals larger than 10,000 in annual revenue.
- Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
- Experience selling in the midmarket space - medium to large deal sizes.
- Experience with high-volume cold calling.
- Must demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with your teammates and in your selling process.
- Candidates must reside in the US in the MST, PST, or CST time zone.
