Job Description
A hands-on Turnarounds Supervisor responsible for leading and coordinating turnaround projects at refineries and chemical plants across the EMEA region, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery through effective management of personnel, contractors, and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, plan, and lead turnaround projects onsite
- Manage service and parts requirements for turnarounds
- Supervise Zeeco personnel and third-party contractors on site
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards during operations
- Support site surveys and preliminary project visits
- Review contractual requirements and ensure full delivery to clients
- Produce project documentation, inspection reports, and RAMS
- Develop and maintain business in the Benelux region
- Carry out preliminary works on equipment between projects
Requirements
- Qualification in relevant Engineering discipline.
- Experience working on refineries and chemical plants.
- Mechanical experience understanding of mechanical practices and good working practices for refineries and chemical plants.
- Experience in a customer facing environment.
- Experience with turnarounds, shutdowns and maintenance works Mechanical or Electrical.
- Previous experience working on fired equipment; OEM experience is advantageous.
- Welding and fabrication knowledge is advantageous.
- Proven leadership in field execution and turnaround environments.
- Ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings and installations.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a bias for action.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Commercial awareness and customer-centric approach.
- Willingness to travel in the EMEA Region, including Europe, Middle East, and Africa, sometimes at short notice.
- Willingness to travel for prolonged periods of time.
- Valid driving licence is essential.
- Forklift licence is advantageous.
