The General Laborer supports building expansion projects by performing physically demanding outdoor tasks such as site cleanup, material handling, digging, and general construction work to assist ongoing facility improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Perform physical labor to support building expansion activities
Conduct site cleanup, including picking up trash, debris, and materials
Dig ditches, trenches, and holes as directed
Assist with general site organization and cleanup
Support skilled trades and supervisors with assigned tasks
Follow safety guidelines, procedures, and PPE requirements
Work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods
Requirements
Prior experience in general labor, manufacturing maintenance, or automotive repair
Dependability and safety-consciousness in performing manual labor in all weather conditions
Ability to perform physical labor in support of building expansion activities, including picking up trash, debris, and construction materials across the job site
Ability to dig ditches, trenches, and holes as directed
Assist with general site cleanup and organization
Support skilled trades and supervisors as needed
Work outdoors for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and PPE requirements
Take direction and complete assigned tasks efficiently
Maintain regular and reliable attendance
Ability to perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Must be able to stand and be on feet for long periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, tolerate extreme temperatures and high noise levels
Majority of work performed outside, involving frequent walking, bending, stooping, and climbing stairs
