Job Description
The Senior Engineer - Procurement is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for materials needed in the manufacturing of industrial combustion and pollution control systems, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant supply chain operations to support project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials and bought-out items.
- Manage RFQ issuance, supplier evaluations, and commercial negotiations.
- Finalize purchase orders and expedite materials to meet project schedules.
- Ensure timely availability of technically compliant materials while adhering to cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
- Support project execution by mitigating supply-chain risks and optimizing procurement costs.
- Maintain approved vendor compliance and uphold organizational standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and provide accurate cost inputs for bids and proposals.
Requirements
- Experience in executing end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials and bought-out items required for the fabrication and delivery of industrial combustion and pollution control systems.
- Ability to ensure the timely availability of technically compliant materials while maintaining strict adherence to cost, quality, and delivery objectives in line with project schedules and organizational budgets.
- Experience working closely with Engineering, Planning, Quality, Estimation, and Project teams to manage RFQ issuance, supplier evaluations, commercial negotiations, purchase order finalization, and material expediting.
- Strong understanding of engineering materials, international codes and standards, and supplier capabilities relevant to combustion and fired-equipment applications.
- Ability to mitigate supply-chain risks, optimize procurement costs, and maintain approved vendor compliance to support project execution.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement of procurement processes and contributing to accurate cost inputs for future bids and proposals.
