Job Description

The Project Expeditor is responsible for supporting and expediting project execution by coordinating procurement, tracking critical documents, managing schedules, and liaising with vendors to ensure timely delivery of project milestones, primarily focusing on flare products within Zeeco's engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and expedite project execution by developing procurement plans and maintaining milestone schedules
  • Track and obtain critical project documents and quotations from vendors to ensure timely submissions
  • Coordinate shipping arrangements and monitor production progress with vendors and internal teams
  • Follow up on vendor communications, negotiate proposals, and discuss project details post-proposal
  • Provide status reports on project activities and overall progress to management
  • Assist in creating and updating project execution presentations and documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
  • Knowledge of all Zeeco products, with a focus on Flare products and technical requirements
  • Ability to support and expedite project execution, including development and maintenance of procurement plans and high-level project milestone schedules
  • Experience in proactively tracking and obtaining critical project documents such as ITP, drawings, NDE Procedures, WPS PQRs, Weld Maps, and quotations from subvendors to ensure timely submissions
  • Ability to coordinate shipping arrangements with vendors to ensure adherence to project schedules and logistical requirements
  • Experience conducting regular follow-ups with vendors and internal manufacturing teams to monitor production progress, secure schedule and forecast details, and update the project team on inspection and quality plans
  • Experience following up on written or verbal correspondence with vendors during quotation phases and visiting vendors post-proposal issuance to discuss and negotiate proposals
  • Proficiency in providing status reports to management on overall project status and activities
  • Ability to assist with the creation and modification of project execution presentation documents using Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Project) and all web-based systems
  • Willingness and ability to travel 10-20% of the time, both domestically and internationally
