Job Description
A fitter welder role focused on fitting and welding high-precision stainless and carbon steel assemblies for custom engineered combustion components, requiring advanced TIG, flux-core, and MIG welding skills, adherence to strict quality standards, and the ability to work independently on complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Fit and weld high precision stainless and carbon steel assemblies according to specifications and engineering drawings
- Operate advanced TIG, Flux-core, and MIG welding equipment on complex combustion components
- Maintain equipment and uphold safety, health, and environmental standards
- Ensure welds meet quality standards and pass post-weld testing criteria
- Work independently on engineered-to-order combustion parts with exceptional craftsmanship
Requirements
- Experienced welders with advanced TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding skills on stainless and carbon steel.
- Experienced welders with advanced flux-core welding skills on stainless and carbon steel.
- Experience in fitting and welding high precision stainless and carbon steel assemblies in accordance with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), engineering drawings, and strict quality standards.
- Ability to work on complex, engineered-to-order combustion components that require exceptional fit-up, craftsmanship, and adherence to code-quality welds.
- Ability to operate independently in a welding and fitting role.
- Ability to maintain welding and fitting equipment.
- Ability to uphold Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
- Experience delivering welds that meet post-weld testing criteria.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: Signing bonuses of $4,500 for Class A and $3,000 for Class B/C
Work schedule: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed
