Job Description
An entry-level engineer responsible for designing and analyzing combustion equipment components such as pressure vessels, stacks, and piping systems, providing technical support, collaborating with teams, and ensuring efficient and market-ready structural designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and check structural calculations for combustion equipment such as pressure vessels, steel stacks, derrick structures, and piping systems
- Provide technical support and responses for structural-related issues within the engineering team
- Communicate with project teams, drafting, and manufacturing to ensure designs are feasible, market-ready, and easily fabricated
- Present technical information on structural topics to colleagues
- Act as a technical liaison with US and global colleagues
- Assist applications engineers with structural aspects for quotes
- Prepare clear and concise structural design reports
- Apply first principles to solve engineering challenges
- Identify and improve areas of waste and inefficiency in structural processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering Civil, Mechanical, or Architectural Engineering (preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Aptitude to interpret specifications
- Fluent in Microsoft Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Professional Engineering License or willingness to obtain
