Job Description
An entry-level engineer responsible for designing and analyzing combustion equipment components such as pressure vessels, stacks, and piping systems, providing technical support, collaborating with teams, and ensuring efficient and market-ready structural designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and check structural calculations for combustion equipment such as pressure vessels, steel stacks, derrick structures, and piping systems.
- Provide technical support and responses for structural-related inquiries within the engineering team.
- Communicate with project teams, drafting, and manufacturing to ensure designs are market-ready and easily fabricated.
- Assist applications engineers with structural topics for ongoing quotes.
- Prepare and report structural design packages clearly and efficiently.
- Use engineering principles to address and resolve structural engineering challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering Civil, Mechanical, or Architectural Engineering (preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Aptitude to interpret specifications
- Fluent in Microsoft Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Professional Engineering License or willingness to obtain
