Job Description

A skilled fitter welder responsible for fitting and welding high-precision stainless and carbon steel combustion components using advanced TIG and flux-core welding techniques, ensuring adherence to strict quality standards and engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Fit and weld high precision stainless and carbon steel assemblies according to specifications and engineering drawings
Operate advanced TIG and flux-core welding equipment on complex combustion components
Maintain equipment and uphold safety, health, and environmental standards
Ensure welds meet quality standards and post-weld testing criteria

Requirements

Experience as a welder with advanced TIG and flux-core welding skills on stainless and carbon steel.
Ability to support the manufacturing of custom engineered combustion parts by fitting and welding high precision stainless and carbon steel assemblies.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with strict quality standards.
Capability to work on complex, engineered-to-order combustion components that require exceptional fit-up and craftsmanship.
Ability to operate independently in a manufacturing environment.
Skill in maintaining welding equipment and ensuring it is in proper working condition.
Adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards at all times.
Consistently deliver welds that meet post-weld testing criteria and quality standards.
