Job Description
A Senior Fullstack Engineer specializing in Java and Vue, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable microservices and web applications within the financial industry, while leading technical initiatives and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop solutions addressing business requirements and constraints.
- Design, develop, and implement new software components and functionalities.
- Manage project tasks, provide status updates, and ensure timely delivery of key initiatives.
- Coordinate with testing teams to ensure solutions are thoroughly tested, including creating automated test scripts.
- Evaluate and integrate third-party technologies and solutions.
- Design secure, maintainable, and robust technical solutions following best practices and standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation such as design documents, guidelines, and standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements
- 8 years of professional backend engineering experience with Java J2EE and related JVM technologies.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Spring ecosystem including Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Integration.
- Proven experience designing technical solutions from business requirements, including making pragmatic architecture decisions.
- Solid track record in building and maintaining microservices and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of HTTP protocols and designing consuming REST APIs.
- Experience implementing web application security best practices such as secure coding, authentication and authorization (authN authZ), and OWASP awareness.
- Strong SQL and RDBMS skills with Oracle, MySQL, or equivalent databases.
- Proficiency with Git, modern IDEs, and collaborative development workflows.
- Working knowledge of Linux environments.
- Experience working in Agile teams with shared ownership and iterative delivery.
