Job Description
The Senior Manager, Power Sales at Xpansiv is responsible for driving business development and sales of SaaS solutions within North American wholesale power markets, leveraging industry networks to expand the adoption of their market-leading infrastructure and platform offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage existing professional network to close SaaS services opportunities in wholesale power markets
- Develop and execute business development strategies to increase global adoption of Xpansiv's infrastructure
- Originate leads and engage with key decision makers and influencers to build trusted relationships
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to surpass sales targets
- Generate net-new recurring revenue through sales activities
Requirements
- Proven capacity to originate leads, engage with key decision makers and influencers, build trusted relationships, develop a strong pipeline, surpass sales targets, and generate net-new recurring revenue.
- Experience in closing SaaS services opportunities and executing business development strategies within the North American wholesale power markets.
- Strong professional network within the energy and power markets to leverage for sales opportunities.
- Ability to develop and execute business development strategies that increase global adoption of Xpansiv’s market-leading infrastructure.
- Experience with the Xpansiv APX MarketSuite transaction platform, including its capabilities such as dynamic scheduling and settlement, asset telemetry, remote monitoring, and 24/7 desk support, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated success in participating in US wholesale power markets, specifically with grid-scale storage, renewables, fossil generators, and load resources.
- Mid-level professional experience in power sales or related roles, with potential for future people management responsibilities.
- Educational background relevant to the energy or technology sectors (specific degree requirements are not explicitly stated but implied as necessary for the role).

Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $130,000 - $145,000 in New York, varies by region based on skills, experience, knowledge, education, and training
Commission plan in addition to base salary
