Job Description
The Senior Manager, Power Sales at Xpansiv is responsible for driving business development and sales of SaaS solutions in North American wholesale power markets, leveraging industry networks to increase adoption of the company's energy transition platform and generate recurring revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage existing professional network to close SaaS services opportunities in wholesale power markets.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to increase global adoption of Xpansiv's infrastructure.
- Originate leads and engage with key decision makers and influencers to build trusted relationships.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to surpass sales targets and generate recurring revenue.
- Promote and sell Xpansiv's APX MarketSuite transaction platform and related solutions to market participants.
Requirements
- Proven capacity to originate leads, engage with key decision makers and influencers, build trusted relationships, develop a strong pipeline, surpass sales targets, and generate net-new recurring revenue.
- Experience in closing SaaS services opportunities and executing business development strategies to increase global adoption of infrastructure solutions.
- Strong professional network within North American wholesale power markets.
- Ability to leverage the Xpansiv APX MarketSuite transaction platform, including its dynamic scheduling and settlement capabilities, asset telemetry, remote monitoring, and 24/7 desk support.
- Experience working with grid-scale storage, renewables, fossil generators, and load resources to participate across US wholesale power markets.
- Mid-level individual contributor experience with potential for future people management responsibilities.
- Educational background relevant to sales, energy markets, or technology (implied, as the role involves technical and market knowledge).
- Ability to develop and execute business development strategies and build a sales pipeline.
- Ability to engage with and influence key decision makers and stakeholders in the energy and power markets.
- Willingness to work in a role that involves traveling or engaging with clients across North American regions (implied by the regional focus).
- Base salary expectation in the range of $130,000 - $145,000 in New York, with additional commission plan (implying compensation structure requirements).
