Job Description
The role involves leading power sales and business development efforts within North American wholesale power markets for Xpansiv's energy transition platform, leveraging industry networks to drive adoption, build relationships, and generate recurring revenue in a senior individual contributor capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage existing professional network to close SaaS services opportunities in North American wholesale power markets.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to increase global adoption of Xpansiv's infrastructure.
- Originate leads and engage with key decision makers and influencers to build trusted relationships.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to surpass sales targets and generate recurring revenue.
- Promote and sell Xpansiv's APX MarketSuite transaction platform and related solutions to market participants.
Requirements
- Proven capacity to originate leads, engage with key decision makers and influencers, build trusted relationships, develop a strong pipeline, surpass sales targets, and generate net-new recurring revenue.
- Experience leveraging an existing, strong professional network to close SaaS services opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business development strategies that increase global adoption of market infrastructure.
- Senior-level experience as an individual contributor in sales or business development roles within the energy or power markets.
- Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders in North American wholesale power markets.
- Experience with the Xpansiv APX MarketSuite transaction platform or similar market platforms, including dynamic scheduling, settlement capabilities, asset telemetry, remote monitoring, and 24/7 desk support, is preferred.
- Educational background relevant to sales, business development, or the energy industry (specific degree requirements are not explicitly stated but implied).
- Physical and mental capacity to perform senior-level sales activities, including frequent engagement with clients and stakeholders across the US wholesale power markets.

Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $155,000 - $175,000 in New York, with variation based on region, skills, experience, knowledge, education, and training
Commission plan in addition to base salary
