Job Description
The Water Wastewater Project Manager is responsible for leading the development, design, and delivery of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects, collaborating with municipal clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with municipal clients to develop, design, and deliver water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
- Evaluate, plan, design, and provide construction administration for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.
- Manage multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Engage directly with clients and internal teams to coordinate project activities.
- Support marketing and proposal development efforts for new projects.
Requirements
- Possession of a Professional Engineer license (PE) with strong experience in evaluating, planning, designing, and providing construction administration for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.
- Experience in developing, designing, and delivering projects related to drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater for municipal clients.
- Familiarity with a broad range of issues related to master planning, treatment, distribution, and collection systems.
- Strong technical focus with the ability to evaluate, plan, design, and oversee construction for linear and vertical water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with the Technical Manager and broader technical team to lead the delivery of multiple projects.
- Experience engaging directly with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to support marketing and proposal development efforts.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% within Maine to client sites.
- Availability to work in Portland, ME with a hybrid work schedule.
