Job Description
The Water Distribution and Treatment Operator is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of water treatment and distribution facilities, ensuring compliance, monitoring processes, and supporting water resource protection in Mansfield, Connecticut.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in daily operations and maintenance of water treatment and distribution facilities as directed by the Plant Manager
- Monitor daily process parameters to ensure compliance and optimal plant performance
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to support the operation of water treatment and distribution systems
- Maintain 100% compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Assist in troubleshooting operational issues and implementing solutions
Requirements
- Possession of relevant certifications for Water Distribution and/or Treatment Operators (such as state-specific operator licenses or certifications) as required by industry standards.
- Participation in the daily operations and maintenance of the Water Treatment and Distribution facility as directed by the Plant Manager.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 07:00 and 16:00.
- Rotation of a 7-day on-call coverage schedule, with a $200 per week on-call stipend provided.
- Ability to work outdoors and perform tasks related to protecting and maintaining water resources.
- Ability to work in compliance with 100% operational and safety standards, achieved through daily process monitoring and comprehensive maintenance activities.
- Ability to support and participate in maintaining full compliance with all relevant water treatment and distribution regulations.
- Willingness to be considered for future available positions in the Mansfield, Connecticut area, indicating a readiness to engage with the hiring process.
- Ability to support and participate in the industry’s certification maintenance, upgrading, and earning processes, as the company aids employees in these efforts.

Compensation/salary range not specified
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 0700-1600 hours
7-day on-call rotation with a $200 weekly stipend
