Job Description

The Wastewater Water Treatment Operator is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of multiple water and wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring compliance and efficient plant performance, with opportunities for career advancement and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the daily operations and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment facilities
  • Follow directives from the Project Manager and Chief Operator to ensure plant efficiency and compliance
  • Assist in monitoring and controlling treatment processes to meet regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Possession of a valid Water Wastewater Operator certification at the C level or higher.
  • Participation in the daily operations and maintenance of 3 Water Treatment Facilities and 2 Wastewater Treatment Facilities as directed by the Project Manager and Chief Operator.
  • Ability to work outdoors and protect water resources.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation with incentives, including $200 for the week on call and a minimum of 2 hours paid for each call out received.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with water and wastewater treatment plant operations and maintenance.
  • Experience or knowledge in operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment equipment and systems (implied by the role, though specific years of experience are not explicitly stated).
