The Wastewater Plant Operator is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment facility, ensuring efficient plant performance and regulatory compliance while working on a rotating shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in daily operations and maintenance of the wastewater treatment facility
Operate treatment plant equipment and systems to ensure proper functioning
Maintain compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards
Requirements
Participate in the daily operations and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment facility as directed by the Project Manager.
Work any shift in a 24/7 plant schedule, including 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or 11pm-7am shifts, with different days off depending on the shift.
Possess the ability to work outdoors and protect water resources.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent (implied, as industry certifications are supported and required).
Be willing to obtain, upgrade, and maintain industry certifications relevant to wastewater operations (implied, as the company supports certification efforts).
