Job Description
The Wastewater Plant Operator is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment facility, ensuring efficient plant performance and regulatory compliance while working on a rotating shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in daily operations and maintenance of the wastewater treatment facility
- Operate treatment plant equipment and systems to ensure proper functioning
- Maintain compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards
Requirements
- Participate in the daily operations and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment facility as directed by the Project Manager.
- Work any shift in a 24/7 plant schedule, including 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or 11pm-7am shifts, with different days off depending on the shift.
- Possess the ability to work outdoors and protect water resources.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent (implied, as industry certifications are supported and required).
- Be willing to obtain, upgrade, and maintain industry certifications relevant to wastewater operations (implied, as the company supports certification efforts).
