Job Description
The Wastewater Plant Operator is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment facility, ensuring efficient plant performance and compliance with regulations, while working on a rotating 24/7 shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the daily operations of the wastewater treatment facility
- Perform maintenance tasks on wastewater treatment equipment
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards
- Assist in monitoring and controlling treatment processes
- Support certification and training requirements for wastewater operations
Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
- Have the ability to participate in the daily operations and maintenance of a Wastewater Treatment facility as directed by the Project Manager.
- Be willing to work a 24/7 schedule across three shifts: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am, with different days off depending on the shift, and be flexible to work any shift.
- Have a valid driver’s license and be able to work outdoors protecting water resources.

- Be able to perform physical tasks associated with wastewater plant operations, including working outdoors and handling equipment as necessary.
- Be willing to participate in industry certification programs and support efforts to earn, upgrade, and maintain relevant certifications within the industry.
