Job Description
The Wastewater Plant Operator is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment facility, ensuring efficient plant performance and compliance with regulations, while working on a rotating shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the daily operations of the wastewater treatment facility
- Perform maintenance tasks on treatment plant equipment
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards
- Assist in monitoring and controlling treatment processes
- Support certification and training requirements for industry standards
Requirements
- Participate in the daily operations and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment facility as directed by the Project Manager.
- Possess the ability to work any shift, including 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or 11pm-7am, on a rotating schedule in a 24/7 plant environment.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Be able to work outdoors and protect water resources.
- Be willing to work on a rotating schedule with different days off depending on the shift.
