Job Description
The Wastewater Operator is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of industrial wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring compliance and responding to emergencies, while working on a rotating shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in daily operations and maintenance of industrial wastewater treatment systems as directed by the Project Manager
- Respond to emergency or unpredicted situations, including participating in an on-call rotation
- Operate and monitor wastewater treatment facilities during assigned shifts
- Assist in covering additional shifts as needed
Requirements
- Participate in the daily operations and maintenance of Industrial Wastewater Treatment Systems as directed by the Project Manager.
- Participate in an on-call rotation on weekends, holidays, and outside normal workday hours, and respond to emergency or unpredicted situations.
- Work the schedule from 12:00am to 12:00pm, with occasional need to help cover an additional shift.
- Be a qualified Industrial Wastewater Operator near Douglas, Georgia, with the ability to perform operational duties at the treatment facilities.
- Possess the ability to respond to emergency situations and unpredicted operational issues promptly.
- Be willing to work a rotating schedule with two days on, two days off, and three days on, following a two-week cycle as specified.
- Have the physical ability to participate in the daily operations and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems, which may include physical tasks associated with plant operations.
- Be willing to participate in an on-call rotation on weekends, holidays, and outside normal work hours, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
