Job Description

The Site Civil Project Manager is responsible for leading civil engineering projects related to land development, including planning, design, permitting, and construction support, while managing client relationships, project scope, schedule, and budget across private and public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and establish relationships with clients to manage project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Lead the delivery of civil engineering projects including planning, design, permitting, and construction services
  • Manage and supervise project teams and subcontractors
  • Coordinate and manage project tasks, including estimating costs and controlling project scope and schedule
  • Prepare proposals, participate in project interviews, and support marketing activities
  • Conduct report writing and interact with project staff, clients, and regulatory agencies

Requirements

  • Experience as a Project Manager delivering high-quality site civil design and permitting services for projects across the firm's geography and core markets.
  • Ability to maintain and establish relationships with clients to procure and manage the scope, schedule, budget, and delivery of civil engineering projects.
  • Experience working directly with clients and a team to lead the delivery of projects related to providing technical advice, planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services.
  • Experience in managing and supervising projects utilizing technical and administrative staff.
  • Ability to lead and complete technical tasks as required to support civil engineering projects.
  • Experience managing projects ranging from site assessment investigation to civil design and construction.
  • Experience selecting, coordinating, and managing subcontractors.
  • Ability to estimate costs and manage the scope, schedule, and budget for various project tasks.
  • Proficiency in report writing and interaction with project staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Experience supporting business development efforts including preparation of proposals, project interviews, and marketing activities.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% within Northern Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.
