Job Description
Join Esri's Field Apps team as a Software Developer II to design, develop, and test high-performance iOS applications that enhance field data collection, mapping, and navigation, leveraging the latest Apple technologies to create innovative mobile solutions for real-world scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test iOS applications with offline functionality and real-time map integration
- Collaborate with developers and designers to meet user requirements and develop field mapping, data collection, and navigation software
- Solve complex problems related to user experience, performance optimization, and caching
- Advocate for Apple technologies and contribute to team skill development through design and code reviews
Requirements
- Be an Apple enthusiast and a game changer
- Have 2 years of commercial software development experience
- Proficiency in Objective-C and/or Swift
- Experience with Xcode
- Developing with the Cocoa and Cocoa Touch APIs
- Object-oriented design skills
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Experience developing iOS applications related to performance optimization and caching
- Good communication skills
- Ability to be a team player who can also work independently
- Ability to thrive in an environment that changes often
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics
- Love for iOS development
